The Complete Metabolic Panel and the Complete Blood count…
will give him an idea if your immune system is responding to
an infection of either bacteria, fungus, or viral in nature.
Urinalysis and Blood tests may show if this is a liver,
biliary, kidney or thyroid problem. It really depends on which
blood testing he ordered.

If your liver is truly swollen and your glands are swelled…this
may indicate Mononucleosis. You do not mention anything about
being tired. The doctor may feel up under the front rib cage in
the upper right hand quadrant of the abdomen. He may also
try to feel the left side in the upper left quadrant. He can only
feel the very lowest bottom of the liver, therefore,
if he thinks it is enlarged…he may order an ultrasound to confirm
it. The spleen is higher on the left side than the liver (on the opposite
side)and is usually also enlarged in Mono.

No one here can diagnose this. I hope you find out soon what
may be really taking place. If this is Mono…I would not do
any strenuous exercise and try to stay relaxed and eat well.

still hoping for the best. got it sitting face down on a soft towel hoping that it will help drain away from all the circuitry. I drink out of a big mug that has a lid on it, that way if it spills it leak much.
